The items are saved on a separate page for the duration of the visit. The Visitor can view this page at any time and send the list of items to a friend, themselves or even the companies sales team for inquiries on the chosen items. They also have the opportunity to add the wishlist items to a shopping cart for purchasing through the checkout process.
This function is most often used on Websites featuring products, but is also valuable as a bookmarking function on Websites rich in News content or Services.
