Pre Project - Getting Started
Contact Us to arrange a meeting. Once we find out more about your business and your requirements we develop a detailed appraisal of your requirements. The appraisal includes a business requirements analysis, SEO and hosting requirements, content/copy requirements, costs, timelines, processes and any other specific detail required to ensure your website development project is successful. Week 1
- We arrange a Project Initiation meeting to discuss content preparation, project management and finalisation of the sitemap
- Keyword Identification : We discuss your keyword strategy
- Content Development initiated : We provide you with a Word Document which facilitates the Website's content gathering. Optionally we arrange for a website copywriter to discuss and arrange your website text.
- Initial Concepts started : We start designing the home page concepts - this establishes the look and feel for the entire website
Week 2
- Initial concepts for home page inprogress
- Content Development continues
Week 3
- We set up your website statistics using Google analytics. Google analytics tracks your website's stats providing you with essential information about how your website is working and provides insight about how your interenet marketing can improve. Information includes where your website visitors are coming from and how long they are spending on each page.
- Initial concets completed for client review
- Review cycle for home page concepts begins
- Content Development continues
Week 4
- Content completed
- We add the website content to your website
- Design review cycle continues
Week 5
- Review cycle complete - artwork is signed off
- Other design concepts completed
- We begin the Website Development process
Week 6
- Test website loaded for internal testing : we thoroughly test your website to make sure it confirms to W3C standards and your own specifications.
- SEO review and maximisation - we ensure all technical aspects of on-page SEO are maximised such as AltTags, meta tags, static URLs, browser titles, header tags etc
- Client Acceptance testing begins : You can start looking and playing with your site to makes ure it works as expected.
- Manual Constructed : We develop the users manual for you to read at your own leisure to complement the training we provide
Week 7
- Revisions
- Go Live : Your website will be delegated to your domain nameand will go live onto the internet.
- Training arranged : Training is arranged for the designated website administartor to manage the website. We conduct one on one training for the designated administrator at our Cheltenham office.
