Pre Project - Getting Started

• Contact Us to arrange a meeting so we can find out more about your business and discuss your requirements.
• We develop a detailed appraisal of your requirements and our approach to meeting your requirements along with any extras we think will add value.  The appraisal includes a business requirements analysis, SEO and hosting requirements, content/copy requirements, costs, timelines, processes and any other specific detail required to ensure your website development project is successful.  

Week 1

• Project Initiation meeting to discuss content preparation, website marketing/SEO strategy, project management, content preparation and finalisation of the sitemap
• Website Content Development initiated : Depending on your situation we will start arranging your content. There are several options including providing you with a Word Document which facilitates DIY content writing. Optionally we can also arrange for a website copywriter to discuss and arrange your website text.
• Website Design Concepts started : We start designing the home page concepts which will establish the look and feel for the entire website. 

Week 2

• Website design concepts for home page in progress
• Website Content Development continues

Week 3

• Website design concepts completed for client review
• Website design Review cycle for home page concepts begins
• Website Content Development continues

Week 4

• Website Content completed
• Website Design review cycle continues

Week 5

• Website Design Review cycle complete - artwork is signed off
• Other design concepts completed
• We begin the Website Development process

Week 6

• Website Development continues
• Test website loaded for internal testing : we thoroughly test your website to make sure it confirms to W3C standards  and your own specifications.
• SEO review and maximisation : we ensure all technical aspects of on-page SEO are maximised such as AltTags, meta tags, static URLs, browser titles, header tags etc

Week 7

• Client Acceptance Website testing begins : You can start looking and playing with your website to make sure it works and looks as expected

Week 8

• Website to GO LIVE : Your website will be delegated to your domain name and will go live onto the internet.
• Website operating Manual Constructed : We develop the users manual for you to read at your own leisure to complement the training we provide
• Website Training arranged : Training is arranged for the designated website administrator to manage the website. We conduct one on one training for the designated administrator at our Cheltenham office.
